the classic Hollywood sex symbol. Now five rarely seen
photos of the blonde bombshell on red velvet are up
for grabs. Shots that were taken in May of 1949.
Tom Kelly, Jr. says, "She was an upcoming starlet who
wanted to become a model and approached my father about
doing advertising jobs."
Kelly, Jr., the photographer's son, has owned these
six images taken by his father for fifty years. He says,
"I don't think Marilyn was really willing to do the
non-clothes version, but she was a little strapped for
cash and she knew that Tom would do an artistic job
and that he'd pay."
