Do Blondes Have More Fun?
Marilyn
Monroe always said gentlemen prefer blondes. Fair haired
foxes.like Pamela, Anna Nicole Smith and Gwenyth set
the gold standard for Hollywood. But do men everywhere
really prefer blondes?
EXTRA decided to find out with an undercover experiment
at two Miami hotspots. Our guinea pig? Jessica Jackson:
one woman, three different hair colors.
Jessica got wigged out at the Scott Alan Hair Salon
in Miami where owner Alan has his idea about blondes.
"I think men like their girlfriends blonde and their
wives brunette."
Okay and what about redheads? A wine colored wig, and
Jessica's a new woman. She says, "It would take some
getting used to."
Now it's time for the test. She'll hook up with friend
Lori, a dye-hard blonde. Lori says, "I don't feel sexy
if I'm not blonde."
The two beauties, both dressed to kill, head for the
trendy China Grill in South Beach. Blond Lori scores
first, man after man eyes her up and down. One buys
her a drink.
Her glowing mane attracts men of all ages! Nearby, a
doctor named Clark gives Jessica some attention, but
maybe not the kind she wanted. Clark then spots Lori,
ditching Jessica who's now red haired and red faced!
Lori makes a knockout brunette as she heads to another
south beach nightspot, Jimmy's. Trouble is her dark
hair gets lost in the dark club and except for a few
conversations she spends most of the night dancing alone.
Now for the final test. Jessica goes back to her natural
blonde then goes back to the bar with her dark haired
friend Rosie. Guess who the man magnet is? Jessica doesn't
pay for drinks or compliments.
So which hair color scores most with men? Here's the
final tally. Red-haired Jessica got hit on five times,
while blonde Lori scored ten hits from men. A brown
haired Jessica again only five hits from male admirers.
But a blonde Jessica? A whopping 10 hits in just 45
minutes. There you have it - blondes win big time.
