Millioanire Matchmaking
He's
Richard Wilcox, a Texas millionaire looking for love.
His perfect woman? He says, "She's intelligent. She's
smart. She's not a bimbo."
She's a California girl, looking for a sugar daddy.
But don't call Holly Sterling a golddigger. She says,
"No, platinum digger. I don't wear gold. Everything's
platinum, even the Rolex."
And meet Dianne Bennett, she owns a Beverly Hills matchmaking
service with an exclusive clientele: beautiful women
and rich men! Dianne says, "Look, men want sex. Women
want money. That's the way of life. It always has been."
Dianne set up Holly for Richard's first date, after he
paid thousands for 10 introductions. Finally the moment
of truth, the first face to face. And they're off, in
a limo of course, to one of L.A.'s most elegant and
expensive restaurants.
The small talk only lasted two-minutes and 33-seconds
then Holly got down to business.
Holly: What exactly do you do? If I could be so blunt."
She keeps digging finding an excuse to ask if Richard's
family is loaded too, fixating on his college ring.
She asked, "How'd you get the money to do that? Mommy
and daddy?"
Holly says, "It seems like old money - they're a little
more relaxed a little more fun. That's why I asked him
if his money came from family or if he did it himself."
Richard's thinking? He says, "Maybe she likes the money."
You think? Here's another clue: Holly's been engaged
seven times! Never married but kept all the rings! She
didn't get her way this night however, when Richard
refused to share a beluga appetizer and things disintegrated
quickly from there.
Richard seemed embarrassed by Holly's behavior. But
minutes later we caught them in a smooch.
Holly: You gonna take me shopping tomorrow?
Richard: Depends what happens tonight.
Well, sorry Holly, they'll be no shopping spree. The
two slept in separate rooms. Richard says he's looking
for someone "who's a little more down to earth. More
sincere."
But Holly has a different take. She says, "Well, I think
it was obvious there was chemistry. We were busting
each other up, we were laughing so hard."
Which brings us back to Dianne Bennett whose motto is:
"There's no romance to poverty."
Shallow? Maybe. But Richard's game for another date
with another golddigger even after the Holly escapade,
and Dianne is more than happy to hook him up.
Dianne says, "I just say to the man, Next! And I provide
them with an endless supply with beautiful girls until
one clicks."
