Matthew McConaughey

He's got to be one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood. Matthew McConaughey, 31, and very single. He's reportedly dated the A-list from Sandra Bullock to Ashley Judd. But Matthew's never taken those final vows. "I know my mother is going, 'Get with a woman. Would you get with a woman have some romance?'"

At least, Matthew's mom Kay must have been happy to see that her son almost makes it down the aisle in his new movie, "The Wedding Planner." In this romantic comedy, he plays a groom who ends up falling in love with the woman hired to plan his wedding.

Jennifer Lopez is cast as that lucky lady, but Leeza Gibbons wanted to know Matthew's take on romance off screen.

Leeza: Is it possible, being human, to have that one everlasting love?

Matthew: It is possible, it is out there, it's very possible.

Leeza: Have you come close?

Matthew: My knees have gotten weak. Not to bend down and propose.

Leeza: You caught it before it got dangerous?

Matthew: It was probably dangerous, I know it was dangerous. I wasn't going to get married but I definitely have had the wonderful butterflies and the shaking knees.

But what about being unfaithful? The groom Matthew plays is tempted to cheat on his fiancée.

Leeza: Do you think if there's an act of infidelity, it signals the end to the relationship or the marriage?

Matthew: I don't think you have to be so harsh and say 'well that is over.' One act, for some people, it shouldn't be the end. You want to be under that spell and it can break that spell.

Matthew and Jennifer sure capture that love spell on screen, especially as they dance the tango. For Matthew, dancing is just as passionate as a kiss.

"It's almost legal public foreplay, but you're not pushing, you're pulling, you're spinning out, you're pulling close, it's what's being said on the dip."

Matthew McConaughey is still single, and looking for that next dance. Here's the EXTRA info on mat's new "streamlined" hairstyle. It's for a movie called "Reign of Fire." In it, he plays a dragonslayer in the year 2030.
