Profile: Jaime Pressly
She's
the graceful beauty headed for Broadway on the W.B.'s
"Jack and Jill." In real-life, Jaime Pressly has already
arrived in a big way.
Entering her second season on "Jack and Jill," Jaime
is working full-time on TV and in films like the new
black comedy, "Poor White Trash." She says, "It was
really over the top and just really out there ridiculous."
Hard to believe she's only been doing this for five
years! "I kind of fell into the acting thing and once
I started I didn't stop."
While she may look like a California girl, this buxom
23-year-old hails from Kinston, North Carolina. For
starters, 11 years of dance and gymnastics, which toned
her petite 5-foot-5 frame and vaulted her into the modeling
world. "I started out modeling when I was 14. Modeled
in Japan and Italy and stuff."
Never shy about showing off her svelte dancer physique,
Jamie quickly turned-up stateside, landing covers for
"Stuff," "Gear," and "Women's Fitness."
She says, "I have a good time with any camera. I'm kind
of used to showing the sexy side by now, so, it's nothing
new."
In fact, it was her sexy side that secured her first
film roles as a voluptuous vixen in 1997's "Poison Ivy:
The New Seduction" and a love-sick waitress in "Desert
Heat."
Now, if you want to see more of Jaime you're in luck,
she's the new spokesmodel for Liz Claiborne's latest
fragrance. And Jaime is the first one to admit she's
been very lucky.
She says, "I'm having a good time."
