| Brookes
self-titled debut album, slated for release on June
19, is not only garnering attention from many of the
countrys most prominent radio program directors,
but from top music executives as well. Comments Ray
Cooper, Co-president, Virgin Records America, Brooke
is a real success story for the internet generation.
The power of her voice and the strength of her songs
will make her the next true star of the pop world.
A
native of Lampasas, and then Fort Worth, Texas, Brooke
Allison, born on September 26, 1986, began singing
at age three. Her parents, David and Jamie, instantly
knew their daughter was born to entertain. They entered
her in pageants, where her singing and dancing skills
quickly developed her into a compelling live performer,
winning competition after competition.
The
self-titled album, produced by Michael Blakey, includes
11 songs that fit Brookes versatile vocal style
by such writers as Mya, Meredith Brooks and Allan
Rich, to name a few. Its so crazy
in a good way because the album has so many
musical styles, says Brooke. I mean, weve
got some pop, some R&B and ballads my favorites
would be pop and ballads.
