'A Home for the Holidays'
Sheryl Crow joins Gwen Stefani and No Doubt along with a dozen other celebrities like Jamie Foxx, Rene Russo, and Mary J. Blige for CBS's "A Home for the Holidays" special. Their mission: to celebrate the joys of adoption.
Crow says, "I just think what they do is amazing. There are so many kids out there that need homes."
"Extra" sat down with the stars to discuss the country's critical adoption crisis. Rene Russo says, "One thing I didn't realize is that 25 percent of these kids will end up homeless. And I think that is sad."
Blige says, "It is really important for them to know that they mean something to someone. They mean something to the world."
This is the fifth CBS special of this kind. Through the years the specials have helped thousands of foster children find loving families. Mya says, "So far they have been able to give homes to about 80,000 children in five years."
"A Home for the Holidays" airs Tuesday night on CBS.
