Lauren Hutton
She is the ageless face of beauty with a record 25 Vogue covers that span four decades. Now the world's most enduring model has just hit another huge milestone—Lauren Hutton turns 60.
Hutton may have reached 60, but she is still a cover girl. She just graced AARP Magazine, declaring, "60 is the new 30." She says, "They've never ever had a model that worked for 47 years."
Now supermodel Lauren Hutton tells "Extra" her unconventional secrets to the fountain of youth. While she is best known for her beauty products, Good Stuff, she surprisingly shuns traditional beauty regimes, rarely exercises, and even smokes cigarettes.
Hutton is even a self-proclaimed wild child. She says, "I wrestled an alligator at 47."
This gorgeous daredevil spends six months a year in exotic places like Tanzania, Micronesia, and Tangier, living among natives and even eating bugs for protein.
But Hutton's hidden beauty comes from the inside and a near-death experience.
Three years ago she crashed her motorcycle and nearly died. She says, "I had landed from 110 miles an hour from 20 feet in the air. I landed on my head, it popped open the motorcycle helmet."
Despite the horrifying experience, Hutton thinks women should know that her youthful attitude and zest for living really is the model for life-long beauty and happiness.
