Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson has Hollywood humming about her acting, her age, and Oscar. The 19-year-old is already a film veteran. She says, "I’ve been lucky. I never feel like I have to prove anything. I come onto the set and the way I am is the way I am."

Director Sofia Coppola cast her opposite Bill Murray in "Lost in Translation," and she is Colin Firth’s leading lady in "Girl with a Pearl Earring."

Firth says, "It is great to work with someone as intelligent as Scarlett. She is not a poser."

She earned accolades for "The Horse Whisperer" and "Ghost World," but this time, the talk is about the 24-carat Oscar. She says, "That would be the most amazing thing in the whole world. The idea of having a buzz around these two films and my performance is so unbelievable. I am trying to just work and separate myself from that whole aspect."

Scarlett has lived to work since she can remember. She says, "When I was young, I wanted to be Judy Garland. I wanted to be a Rosalind Russell. That is the passion that has carried over into young adulthood with me."

She has lit the acting world on fire, but now Scarlett needs to spark her love life. She says, "I always make time for dates. But I’m not with anybody right now. I’m a young person, and you know, I need a lot of cuddling."
