Nicole Kidman
"Extra" unearthed a plethora of Nicole Kidman confessions when we sat down to talk about "Cold Mountain." The actress opened up about wanting a baby, leaving the business, and her friendship with costar Renée Zellweger.
Kidman says, "I said to Renée, ‘You are so funny. Thank God you are in this movie, we needed you to lighten it up and have a ball.’ She sort of comes in and ignites the screen. We'd lie around on the bed reading, and I'd be sort of doing her hair. We just hung out together, two girls in Romania."
Kidman also confessed that she had great chemistry with onscreen love interest Jude Law. She says, "We clicked, which was good for the film. So much of it was are you going to believe that from one kiss, these two people will then endure so much and wait for each other. I'm a big believer in that. I'm like if the man is right, I'll wait."
Many are wondering if Kidman’s current boyfriend, rocker Lenny Kravitz, is that guy. Kidman says, "For me it is all or nothing. When I did that in my 20s, that was my priority and my work was not. Now my children are older and they sort of want me to go. And I don't have that person in my life that is more important.
"I'd love to have another baby. I really would like babies. I like children. My sister has three. It would be nice, one more."
Check out Nicole Kidman in "Cold Mountain," when it hits theatres December 25th.
