Star Exercise
Madonna, Britney, Janet Jackson, and Jennifer Lopez have some of the best bods in the biz. But just how do these sculpted superstars do it? Only "Extra" has their exercise secrets.
Molly Sims says, "I do a lot of pilates. I do a lot of yoga."
Carrie Ann Moss says, "I started doing pilates for ‘The Matrix. I'd do it five times a week."
Strenuous stretching isn't only the answer for Molly and Carrie Ann. Jennifer Aniston does pilates for her sculpted arms and Madonna combines pilates, jogging, plus 12 hours of yoga a week to maintain her buff bod.
Britney Spears does 500 sit-ups a day while Geri Halliwell runs six miles a day. But actress Shannon Doherty heads for the beach instead of the gym. She says, "I've been surfing for awhile now and have found that I look a thousand times healthier now since I started surfing."
Actors Chloe Sevigny and Mark Wahlberg are naturally thin, but still watch their waistlines. Chloe says, "Well, thin is genes, but I do go to the gym a couple of times a week."
Mark adds, "You know I work out, but I was blessed with genetics."
Mark McGrath used to work out on his own, but now has a personal trainer. He says, "It doesn't matter how hard you grunt cause if you're doing it wrong, you're doing it wrong."
Now that we've let you in on the stars exercise secrets, go grab a quick workout.
