George Clooney

Back in 1997, Nicole Kidman and George Clooney co-starred in "The Peacemaker" and apparently they've had a friendly wager going ever since. "I've got a bet with [George Clooney] that when he turns 50 he'll be married," Nicole Kidman told "Extra." "So I think I may lose on that again. We'll see."

George Clooney has been doing a lot of kidding around, but he's been seriously busy starring and making his directorial debut in the bizarre life story of legendary TV producer Chuck Barris.

In the film, Sam Rockwell stars as "The Gong Show" host, romancing both Julia Roberts and Drew Barrymore. Clooney admits he was nervous about directing. He says, "I didn't like directing myself much. But hey, if your first directing job you get to have Sam Rockwell, Drew Barrymore, and Julia Roberts, that's a good thing."

And with George cast as a CIA assassin, if looks could kill, this former People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive would be a smoking gun. He says, "Well, now that Ben has it I’m relieved. Pretty boy [Brad] Pitt took it a couple of times from me, and I thought that wasn't fair. But now Ben has it. We're just going to lobby for Matt Damon and the club will be complete."
