It's a $107,000 engagement ring and it belongs to Danielle Spencer. It was "Extra" who first reported that Russell Crowe had been spotted shopping for diamonds down under. Monday, the gladiator confirmed he proposed to his long time love last month at a restaurant in Sydney, but only after asking permission from Danielle’s father.
In January on "Larry King Live," the intensely private Crowe admitted he'd been struck by cupid's arrow. Now, Crowe is breaking his trademark silence again, posting a message on his rock bands website saying, "I feel a great need to wake up with her as many days of my life as I can."
The Aussie lovebirds met twelve years ago, during the filming of "The Crossing." But it wasn’t until 2001 that their relationship hit the Hollywood radar, turning heads at both the Oscars and the Golden Globes.
