'About Schmidt' Premiere
The stars turned out to in droves to the Los Angeles premiere of Jack Nicholson’s new movie "About Schmidt." Jack, who is getting huge Oscar buzz for his performance, arrived last night with the stunning Lara Flynn Boyle, but shied away from the cameras.
Jack was a man of few words, but everyone else on the red carpet had plenty to say about Jack. Co-star Hope Davis says, "He's a mysterious sort of guy and I love that about him."
Davis also says she jumped up and down when she got the part.
Kathy Bates says working with Jack is the ultimate. She says,
"It was a dream come true for me because I’ve admired his
work for so many years."
Kathy even got to work nude with that legend in a steamy hot tub scene. Bates admits it took a little liquid courage. She says, "I had a little cosmopolitan before I got into the hot tub."
Dermot Mulroney also stars in this poignant comedy and gave us an insight into the way Jack works behind the scenes. He says, "He was not joking around working on this part. He took his comedic role very seriously."
After 44 years and more than 60 movies since he broke into the business, for Jack, this may be as good as it gets.
