'Maid in Manhattan'
Jennifer Lopez and Nettie. Jennifer portrays a blue collar, hard working maid in her new flick. Nettie is a blue collar, hard working maid in her real life.
The Waldorf Towers hotel in New York is where the movie was shot. It’s also where Nettie has vacuumed, dusted, and made thousands of beds over the last 22 years. She says, "We are not called maids anymore. We are called room attendants."
"Extra" decided to make this room attendants day by sending her to the "Maid in Manhattan" movie premiere. First up was a makeover at the John Barrett salon. Nettie was getting waited on hand and foot for a change, hair color and hand massage included.
Bloomingdale’s is next for Nettie’s star treatment. Marian Goodman helped her pick out a red carpet outfit.
A few quick changes and this maid in Manhattan was transformed. But it ain't over yet.
A waiting limo takes her and a friend for a once in a lifetime star studded red carpet ride and a one-on-one with Jennifer Lopez herself.
