Jamie Capsolas
Throwing, running or just teeing off - when it comes to capturing the action, Los Angeles artist Jamie Capsolas is a pro.
While his subjects range from master musicians
to everyday workers, there are a few things refuses to do. He
says, "I don't do still-lifes, I don't do portraits, and I wont
do the family sitting together."
What he will do is take a moment and breathe life into it. Whether
it's a Tiger Woods teeing off or Yankees player Roger Clemens
pitching a no-hitter, he says his true passion is sports. He
says, "People when they are at the most honest, their most candid,
their most vulnerable."
And like his pictures, his technique is one of a kind. He doesn't
use a paintbrush he uses a knife. With talent like this, he
is sure to be a hit. |
