Rosie's Musical Opens
Everything is coming together wonderfully on Broadway for Rosie O’Donnell as she gives birth to a Broadway baby. She was the toast of the town Thursday night as her musical "Taboo" opened to a star-studded crowd.
Even Madonna got a sneak peak the night before. O’Donnell says, "She loved it. She said she was crying."
"Taboo" tells the tale of 80's icon Boy George and opened one day after Rosie’s almost three week court battle in which a judge ruled that O’Donnell does not owe millions to the publishers of her now defunct magazine.
And throughout it all, O’Donnell’s biggest supporter was her partner Kelly Carpenter who spoke out about O’Donnell’s court battle for the very first time.
She says, "We’re happy to have the bad behind. The best is here, were going home tonight to see the kids, and I’m happy about that."
And these days, O’Donnell has a lot to be happy about.
