'Gothika'
It may be a horror movie, but the fans were screaming for Halle Berry at Thursday night's "Gothika" premiere. But there was a big twist on her big night with costars Penelope Cruz and Robert Downey Jr.
Berry was actually stopped from going into her own premiere for security reasons and she was not happy. But the one who was trying to sneak into the show was MTV prankster Ashton Kutcher, as Halle Berry got "Punk’d."
We spoke with Berry just moments before she got "Punk'd," and asked her about something nice she did for Robert Downey Jr. Berry reportedly pushed for Downey to get the role in "Gothika." But Berry says, "I just think he is one of the best actors in our generation."
Downey arrived with his new fiancée, "Gothika" producer Susan Levin.
And Penelope Cruz couldn't help but glow about her love Tom Cruise, who buffed himself up for his "Last Samurai" role. And she admitted that she is a fan for Cruise’s new look. She says, "I like him every way, but he’s been training for a whole year and it’s amazing in the film he does everything himself."
