Carter Oosterhouse

Carter Oosterhouse, who actually has a degree in nutrition, is serving up some sweet deserts to fans of "Trading Spaces: Family." And the best part? He says, "I do not have a girlfriend, and I’m not married."

But his work isn’t all fun and games. Carter says, "I've almost been shot by a nail gun by a homeowner. I've been painted plenty of times, busted up fingers."

And if you think you've seen his face on TV before, you're right, check out his Treasure Island Casino commercial.

Someday the Michigan-born craftsman hopes to seriously pursue an acting career; perhaps by following in the footsteps of another carpenter turned movie star. He says, "Harrison Ford, if you’re out there, I’ll work on your house for you if you give me a part in your movie."
