It was a night two women will never forget. Aaron Buerge finally popped the question to an elated Helene, but what was pure bliss for Helene, came as a devastating blow to Brooke.

"Extra" was the only crew to catch up with the happy couple inside their hotel suite the morning after the big finale. Aaron and Helene were gushing when they said they knew this was a perfect match right from the start. She says, "From day one, I felt comfortable around him."

Aaron says his mind was made up when he took Brooke home to mom and dad. He says, "For whatever reason, when we were sitting there eating dinner with my family, she came across as a little naïve. Helene knows what she wants."

But a heartbroken Brooke says the only thing she wants is to get back to Alabama. She says, "I am emotionally drained, and I’m tired, and I am just ready to go home."

Brooke says she actually believed she would end up Aaron’s bride. She says, "I was completely calm. I wasn’t nervous, no butterflies."

She says she can only think of one reason why she wasn't the one. She says, "Maybe he's scared about being loved like he's never been loved before."

But seems Aaron is not afraid of loving Helene, and told us proposing came easy. He says, "I told her that I loved her and just got down on one bended knee."

Helene says, "I had big sense of relief. The things that I’ve been feeling are the same things he is feeling."

So what's next for these reality romancers? Aaron says, "We're going to do this long distance, and fly back and forth, and spend some time with each other until we feel the time is right."

Helene adds, "I think it's time we got to know each other outside of this situation."
