Rick Yune

Rick Yune is singing that happy Bond tune these days. He is about to blow up on the big screen as the latest villain in the 20th Bond film, "Die Another Day." Yune says, "I was like a kid. I mean, I’ve grown up on these movies."

It's Halle Berry and Pierce Brosnan up against Rick’s evil character Zao, for whom, let's just say, diamonds are forever. Yune explains, "Three to four hours every day. Sometimes ticklish, sometimes painful, real diamonds they used ... Halle Berry thought it was sexy so that's all the really matters."

Yune, who raced to stardom in "The Fast and the Furious," was accustomed to speed when he got to Iceland to shoot the car chase scenes with Brosnan, but metal on ice made the driving that much more dangerous. He says, "I get to Iceland and they put me in this suit. I'm wondering what it's for. Well, this is just in case you fall in the ice."

As the first Asian guy to model Polo and Versace, Rick’s initial success was due to taking the right elevator, where he met an agent who gave him his modeling break. From there his career has gone nowhere but up. He says, "I was meant to believe in the dream. I had parents that came here with nothing."

Now, for Rick Yune, that nothing has turned into something to die for.
