Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
Some guys have all the luck. Male supermodel Tyson Beckford was like a kid in a candy store, working it for "Extra" backstage at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, also known by the millions of lingerie fanatics who will watch it on CBS next Wednesday, as "the night of a thousand thongs."
Tyson was able to catch up with models Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks. Even the evening's hostess with the mostest, Heidi Klum, fell for Tyson's charm.
Of course super beauty Giselle Bundchen was there, along with the other bombshells that put the "bra" in Brazil, like the curvaceous cutie, Adriana Lima. Adriana didn't want to talk about her rocker fiancé, Lenny Kravitz, who was among the celebrities in attendance.
But backstage, the lean and lovely Ms. Lima did dish a surprising secret about what she ate before disrobing for all the world. She said, "I had McDonalds for lunch, and fried chicken for breakfast."
There was a lot of love in the room, but one moment will probably be edited out of next week's broadcast. Several animal-rights activists stormed the runway, targeting Giselle with angry signs because she's the spokes model for a fur company. The audience cheered as the protestors were taken away and charged with disorderly conduct.
The fur may have flown on the catwalk, but otherwise the fashionable flesh-fest was a fabulous function.
