Conservatively dressed in a turtleneck sweater
and tweed skirt, Jennifer Lopez brought her special brand
of Hollywood glamour to New York's City Hall, and the photographers
had a field day.
With her famous fiancé Ben watching
proudly, Lopez lit up the room giving Mayor Bloomberg a billion
dollar embrace, and announced her involvement with a new commission
to attract Latino media and entertainment to the city.
The only thing more blinding than the dazzling
engagement ring back on Jen's hand was the flickering flashbulbs,
which prompted Lopez to joke with the frenzied shutterbugs.
She said, "Stills down. You know, I'm just here to get
my name in the paper."
Sharing the Lakers love in Los Angeles last
night were Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake. The stars couldn't
keep their eyes on the game or their lips off of each other.
The pair was spotted kissing in their courtside seats.
They go together like sushi and saki or
wasabi and soy sauce. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher were spotted
leaving the ultra-trendy Nobu in New York. No reservation
was required for this star couple.
Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette
are also in New York promoting a new TV show they are producing
for WE: Women's Entertainment. It's a home design series
called "Mix it Up," featuring people who are stylistically
at odds with their housemates.
Cox says, "We were at odds when we
met as far as our tastes, and we both wanted to be heard and
get it our way. So we had to combine our tastes and it worked
out. So that's what the show is about."
Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe welcomed
baby number two, a little boy they named Deacon. His older
sister Ava is four.
