Disney Concert Hall

It was black ties and bold glamour as Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Rita, and even Catherine Zeta-Jones came to celebrate the gala opening of LA's Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Tom Hanks played the role of host Sunday night, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones, who showed up looking fabulous while her hubby stayed home looking after the kids. Zeta-Jones says, "He is so annoyed because he made a rash decision to stay home."

There was no chance of Tom Hanks staying home on this magical night. He says, "This is like being asked to ride the first elevator at the Eiffel Tower."

Love is in the air for beaming "Will & Grace" star Megan Mullally and her new husband. She says, "We got married five weeks ago today."

And Mullally let "Extra" in on a big, new "Will & Grace" guest star secret. She says, "We have John Cleese coming up and it's unbelievable. I'm just smiling thinking about him."

Also smiling was lovely Rene Russo all ready for a lesson in great music. The night featured film music and a tune from singing sensation Josh Groban. But Groban was bubbling about his personal duet with actress January Jones.

All that this night to remember needed to cap it off was a fabulous feast catered by Master Chef Joachim Splichal.
