Latin Video Music Awards
It is palm trees over the purple carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards Latin America 2003, where we were primed and ready for this rock ‘n’ roll fashion show.
With Ricky Martin, Daisy Fuentes, and even Kelly Osbourne, the purple carpet was red hot in Miami Beach, and Thursday night, skin was definitely in. And as usual, black dresses and big busts made this the sexiest show on earth.
Daisy Fuentes says, "It's rock and roll, it's all about getting naked."
But backstage, the dazzling Fuentes had a confession. She says, "Sometimes I just stand there and say, ‘Will someone dress me?’"
And "Extra" got up close and personal with Ricky Martin, who couldn't wait to get back to his girlfriend, Rebecca De Alba. He says, "She’s back in Mexico. I’m going to see her tomorrow."
And he also broke big music news. He says, "I can’t wait. March next year I will be releasing an album. It will be an English album with a music tour."
Inside, Alejandro Sanz shook the stage, while Brit band Coldplay, who won for best international rock artist, brushed up on their Español.
