The famous and the fashionable are all getting a leg up on the latest trend. From Ashanti’s asymmetrical cut to Christina's feathers and Pam's barely there wear, the mini is this season's must have.

Tyra Banks says, "They are back." And Giselle adds, "I think mini skirts are sexy." Angela Bassett says, "I just bought me a mini skirt a couple of weeks ago, a leather mini skirt."

And Mya knows why the mini is back. She says, "It’s a big magnet for men."

Bloomingdale’s Fashion Director Sheila Aimette says these days anyone can make the most of a mini. She says, "It’s really easy to wear."

For length, anything goes, from high on the thigh to the more demure knee skimmers. For cut, classic kilts are a cut above the rest.

But if you're not ready to go as bare as some dare, you are not alone. Even beauties like Katie Holmes raise questions about raising their hemlines. She says, "I wasn’t blessed with stick legs, so I’m not a fan. But they look good on other people."
