'Kid Notorious'

Young Hollywood paid tribute to old Tuesday night, as the stars turned out to greet veteran film producer Robert Evans. The occasion was the launch of Evans’s new show "Kid Notorious."

The bawdy new animated series, premiering Wednesday night on Comedy Central, parodies the life of Hollywood's most notorious kid, Evans himself. The show also includes send-ups of Hollywood stars like Sharon Stone, Guns 'N' Roses guitarist Slash, and filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola.

Evans gave "Extra" the exclusive on this first episode of "Kid Notorious." In it, Evans hits Broadway to launch a hip-hop version of his classic film "The Godfather."

Evans told "Extra" that he has had private screenings for his close friends like Jack Nicholson and Michael Jackson, and so far, they all love it. Evans says, "Michael Jackson was here twice to see it. He laughed, and wanted to see it again he laughed so hard."

So, with its race issues, drugs, crime, and a fair dose of sex, who will "Kid Notorious" offend? Evans says, with any luck, everybody. But he adds, "It is risqué, but it's not gratuitously vulgar."
