GQ Men of the Year

A galaxy of stars came out in the Big Apple Tuesday night for the eighth annual GQ Men of the Year Awards. And from Adrien Brody, Anna Kournikova, and Erika Christensen, to Charlize Theron, Mya, and a multitude of macho men, "Extra" was with them all.

So "Extra" had to ask cover man, and GQ's best actor, Adrien Brody what it takes. But the modest Brody answered, "Uh, a phone call and being available."

The women on the red carpet cast their votes, and the results were still up in the air. Eva Mendes says, "I like Justin, and I’m a huge Colin Farrell fan."

Mya adds, "Well, you know I’ve only seen the Rock with his shirt off, so I would have to vote for him."

Mandy Moore aced the question by voting for her tennis stud, Andy Roddick. She says, "I think my boyfriend is man of the year, but that's just me. I'm not biased or anything."

Inside, Kim Cattrall and P. Diddy presented, Mya performed, and Justin Timberlake strutted the stage in a suit with sneakers to accept his award for Showman of the Year.

And Leading Man of the Year Colin Farrell spread plenty of good cheer by satellite. He said, "May you all drink and get drunk and be very merry."

But the evening had to come to an end. And there will be plenty to smile about when GQ's Men of the Year issue hits newsstands next week.
