'The Matrix Revolutions'
Keanu Reeves as Neo is back, and he's more amped up than ever before. He says, "It’s the whole package, I dig it."
"Extra" sat down with "The Matrix Revolutions" man to talk about the highly anticipated third installment, and Reeves could barely contain his excitement. Even a sneak peak at the poster got him fired up. Reeves says, "Look at that, it’s crazy. I mean, even that is crazy."
It certainly is crazy, and also one incredibly successful franchise. The first two "Matrix" movies grossed over $770 million. But despite his worldwide fame, Reeves says he rarely gets noticed by fans. He says, "People come up to me once in awhile and say, ‘Hi.’ I try not to think about myself and my life. I have no life, and I need therapy."
But Reeves can only tell the truth when it comes to "Revolutions," and the men he credits with the film’s success. He says, "My kudos to the Wachowski brothers and everyone involved."
In fact, Reeves was so thankful, he bought a truckload of Harleys and surprised each of his 15 stuntmen with one, a gesture that touched the crew and his costars. And his generosity brought some of his costars to tears. Laurence Fishburne says, "I cried because I just thought it was the most generous thing I’d ever seen anybody do."
"The Matrix Revolutions" blasts into theaters November 5th.
