"Extra" spent time with Kathy Ireland at her European country-style home, where for the past decade she has headed up her own $700 million international company, Kathy Ireland Worldwide.
Ireland says, "Our brand includes apparel, jewelry, everything for the home, flooring, lighting, accessories, and furniture."
Because Ireland's company offers everything to help busy moms furnish their homes, her own Santa Barbara estate is a testing ground for her company's kid-proof products. Ireland says, "It's not only our home, but it's also a great lab for me."
And our tour showed that Ireland's furnishings are truly family, and pet-friendly.
Kathy's says her three children are key employees in her product testing division. She says, "My children are great helps in making sure that everything holds up to the test in durability."
And her success comes from keeping her values in order. She says, "My faith comes first, then my family, then the business."
