He's the laid-back king of cool. But these days, George Clooney has been working around the clock to promote his new movie "Intolerable Cruelty."

Clooney's schedule this week has been grueling. Take the last 24-hours: after patiently signing autographs for fans, Clooney appeared on "Late Night with David Letterman."

Then early Friday morning, Clooney was on the clock again. He appeared on the "Today" show and told Katie Couric that he's working hard because he really believes in this movie. And at this point in his career, he says he only takes roles he loves.

Clooney said, "When we did ‘Batman and Robin,’ it was a really bad film, and I was really bad in it."

But for now, Clooney loves his work. He says, "I have a great job."

And he is certainly working overtime to make sure his new movie is a big success.
