Arnold Wins!

It's the Terminator's time to party. Arnold Schwarzenegger just went from Hollywood action hero to the big boss of California.

It couldn’t have been more Hollywood if it had been scripted. "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno ushered in the governor elect and California's new leading lady.

Even Arnold's onlookers made the victory celebration look more like a movie set than a political platform. There was Rob Lowe who sauntered in behind the Kennedy clan. Lowe says, "I’m just so excited for my state. I think the inspiration tonight is how people have come together to support this candidacy."

Even an overwhelmed Harry Smith showed up. He says, "I have never been at an election night where there's been more media."

And Schwarzenegger's famous constituents weren’t just in Los Angeles. Heidi Klum and Vivica A. Fox rooted for a "Total Recall" from the "Kill Bill" premiere in New York. Klum says, "I like Arnold." Fox adds, "I’m hoping that Arnold Schwarzenegger will tell Governor Gray Davis hasta la vista."

So what's next for the Governator? That becomes the question of the day.

The Hollywood invasion of politics isn’t lost on veteran newsmen Harry Smith. He says, "Once he gets elected in the last few frames he turns to his handlers and he says, now what?"

Back at Schwarzenegger's victory camp, his famous supporters had the answer. Gary Busey says, "Now what? The best is yet to come partner. That's what."

So when does Schwarzenegger actually move into his new job? Experts say it could be days, even weeks, but the winner must be certified by November 15th.
