You know his name and you may know his face, but until you actually sit down with Quentin Tarantino, you can't fully understand where he is coming from.
Hollywood's reigning Mr. T is back in full effect with "Kill Bill: Volume One," his first movie in six long years. Tarantino says, "There literally was the question like, ‘Am I talented enough to do this? Can I make the movie that is in my head because I've never quite seen the movie that's in my head before?’"
But the cast of "Kill Bill" was never worried about their director. Vivica A. Fox says, "He will not disappoint his fans."
Uma Thurman adds, "He's extreme. He wants to settle for nothing less than blowing people away and shocking them."
With Tarantino hooking up again with Thurman, Lucy Liu, Fox, and Daryl Hannah, you can bank on the fact that Tarantino won’t be the only one behind the success of "Kill Bill: Volume One." Fox says, "Tarantino is like a cult in other places. They were like kicking us out of the way to get to Tarantino."
Not bad for a high school dropout, who turned into a video store sales clerk, who, compliments of groundbreaking classics like "Reservoir Dogs," "Pulp Fiction," and "Jackie Brown," has evolved into one of the world’s hippest, slickest, off-the-wall, and controversial directors.
"Kill Bill: Volume One" opens October 10th.
