Samuel L. Jackson

Samuel L. Jackson is back, slick and rugged as ever, and dressed to kill. But, would you believe Sam Jackson in a skirt? Well, it’s actually a kilt.

The unlikely attire for Hollywood’s coolest tough guy is part of his latest starring role as a former sixties child named Elmo in "Formula 51." Jackson explains, "Elmo is like a pharmacological genius that's come up with this really great product."

Sam's character flees to Britain to escape drug dealers and other evil entities that would like to get their greedy hands on his unique creation that's actually legal euphoria.

And the kilt, traditionally worn without underwear, gave Jackson plenty of freedom, while creating a few "editing obstacles." He says, "It all depended on the day and what I was doing. If I was climbing a ladder and running and jumping some stuff, we put something under it to make sure there were no accidents."

Much to the chagrin of British co-star Emily Mortimer, who plays a beautiful sniper with Sam locked in her sights. She says, "I'll always regret that I never looked up the kilt when I had the opportunity."

And you're not likely to see Samuel L. Jackson wearing a skirt again anytime soon.
