'The Bachelor' in New York

He's the hot new Bachelor about to be fought over by 25 single women. Tonight on ABC's "The Bachelor," Aaron Buerge will begin his hunt for a bride. But today Buerge began his life as a celebrity. "Extra" came along for the ride as America’s most eligible bachelor was whisked around New York in style.

Buerge made the TV talk show rounds. Caroline Rhea got cheeky with Aaron on her show, but she also gave this Casanova a warning. She said, "I'll be watching and every time you break up with someone, it will be like you're breaking up with me."

Aaron says he's just a small-town boy from Springfield, Missouri and he’s not used to all the attention, the makeup, and the primping. He says, "If this was my lifestyle fulltime, I don't think it would be that much fun. Because I know it's just a temporary thing, I’m having a lot of fun."

So will Aaron find true love? We'll find out starting tonight. But one thing's for sure, this bachelor is in for a wild ride.
