Liza arrived arm-in-arm with legendary record mogul Clive Davis to a listening party Monday in New York for the launch of her new album, "Liza's Back."
Nearly three years ago, the legendary entertainer was diagnosed with brain encephalitis and told she'd never walk much less perform again. But this summer, Liza made a miraculous return to the stage. Davis says, "It was an incredible evening, 12 standing ovations. I said to myself, this kind of legendary concert has to be documented."
So Davis did, recording 18 songs from her summer concert series. And now there's no stopping Liza. She has a new album, an upcoming reality show on VH1, and a loving husband, whom she credits with giving her the courage to make her stunning comeback. Liza says, "He said, ‘Come on, I dare you. I dare you to do it.’ Sometimes he did that, other times he just said, ‘You're doing great.’ But it was always fun and he was always there."
