Former
Miss USA Shanna Moakler was on the ropes when
she broke up with golden boy boxer Oscar De La
Hoya, but she became a contender again as screen
heartthrob Dennis Quaid's new love. Now she has
a new title: centerfold in the December Playboy.

She
says, “I wanted to do something fun, wild, and different."
She won’t have to wait for the issue to come out to find
out what the man in her life thinks. Shanna says, “I
was dating Dennis before Playboy approached and
I discussed it with him.”
For Dennis Quaid it's quite a change from life with
Meg Ryan, but Shanna says their relationship is strong.
She says, “We kind of brought it up to the next level.
We're in a monogamous relationship, we're happy."
Shanna seems to be able to roll with the punches with
celebrity boyfriends. She has a daughter with boxing
champ De La Hoya; Atiana, now 2 and a half-years old.
She says, “It wasn’t a planned pregnancy, but it was understood if it happened it was beautiful and if it didn’t
that was fine too. When it happened we were both happy."
Oscar supports his daughter, but Shanna claims they haven't
seen the champ in more than a year. Now Oscar and the
rest of America will be seeing plenty of Shanna in the
December Playboy. It's a photo feature that De La Hoya and Dennis Quaid would probably agree is a knockout.
