Dark Angel Stunts

With furious fists, killer kicks, and an arsenal of attitude, "Dark Angel" star Jessica Alba serves up plenty of pain for the bad guys. But to put the smackdown on all the gun-toting troops and super-human soldiers each week, it takes a team of stunt people and one eager actress.

Jessica says, “They just tell me what to do. I ride bikes, I do wire work, and all the martial arts stuff, jumping, running, kicking."
On location in Vancouver, Canada, Jessica gave "Extra" the break down of a stunt in progress. She explains, “I go in on a motorcycle and we got good stunt people to flip over."
Many takes later, Jessica jumps back in to clobber the bad guy. Today though, the stuntman really did get a beating. Jessica says, “I hit him. I actually knicked him in the nose a couple times. I don't trust myself, so I always warn the stunt person I might actually hit them."
That's advice her new co-star Jensen Ackles should have taken to heart. He says, “I was all, ‘Oh yeah, I can take it. There's not a problem.’ Sure enough, cameras roll, whack! Right in the gut. Of course she apologizes.”
Better suck it up big guy because you're not getting much slack from Jessica. She says, “He's actually an actor who can fight … sort of. I always give him a hard time cause he's such a pretty boy."
Jessica, those sound like fighting words.
