Madonna
After all of these years, Madonna still keeps us guessing. Monday she was having a blast, reading her new children's book to a group of toddlers. But just a few weeks ago she had a sexy performance at the MTV Awards with Britney Spears.
"Extra" caught up with the 45-year-old superstar at her New York book signing where she was talking about her new famous friend. She says, "I think [Britney] has been very inspired by me, and I am happy to be her inspiration."
Now Madonna and Britney are inspired to make a racy new video together for the new Spears song, "Me Against the Music." "Extra" has learned Madonna will play a sexy nightclub owner and there is even talk about women on leashes.
But right now, this mother of two is focused on a younger generation of fans with her new book, "The English Roses." Madonna says, "It is really about learning to enjoy and appreciate the things you are blessed with."
Diane Sawyer got an exclusive in-depth interview with the legend, which will air Wednesday morning on "Good Morning America." Sawyer says that Madonna believes she has to stay in the public eye to keep working on the projects she is passionate about.
But Sawyer says that Madonna wants to set the record straight about her now famous smooch. Sawyer says, "She resolutely sees that as a goof. I think she is so tired of people asking her about it and talking about it."
s But one thing about Madonna, even after 20 years in the public
eye, she always leaves people with something to talk about.
