'Kill Bill' Premiere
With Lucy, Daryl, Vivica, and Uma, it was the killer premiere of the year with so many A-list stars it looked like Oscar night. Uma Thurman says, "I'm thrilled, completely thrilled."
Quentin Tarantino adds, "This is gorgeous, absolutely, positively gorgeous."
The movie may be called "Kill Bill," but there was nothing but love on the red carpet Monday night. Liu says, "There is love because we get to see each other after we haven't seen each other in forever."
And "Extra" got to see the drop-dead cast, dressed to kill in lethal outfits. Liu looked awesome in Oscar de la Renta, Hannah was ravishing in red, Fox was smoking in sequins, and Thurman appeared to be sporting a silver bathing suit.
Swimsuit or not, Monday night's crowd proved Tarantino's first film in six years was definitely worth the wait. Liu says, "You can’t not get hyped up around him."
Tarantino arrived in style with star assassin Thurman. Tarantino says, "Yeah, I’m a pimp. Jay-Z never had Uma Thurman pull up in a cab."
And while Tarantino was pimped up, Vivica A. Fox was pumped up to play reporter. She says, "I get to be the hostess with the mostest tonight just because I love ‘Extra.’"
And we let the bad girl get on a "Kill Bill" roll with the film's naughty nurse, Hannah. Hannah says, "Vivica in the first scene of the movie is going to put you in a coma. You might not get to watch the rest of the movie when Uma is in a coma because you'll be out of your mind and sunned. It is just unreal."
"Kill Bill: Volume One" hits theaters October 10th, and by the buzz of the flick, it looks like it is going to make a killing in the box office.
