'Hope & Faith'
Kelly Ripa is a former soap star diva and now she just plays one on TV. "Extra" went behind the scenes of her new sitcom, "Hope & Faith."
The show brings an all-star cast together. Kelly plays a washed up soap star who moves in with her suburban living sister, played by Faith Ford.
Ted McGinley takes on the role of Ford’s husband, whose patience for his intrusive sister-in-law wears thin. He says, "Kelly Ripa’s character is the aunt from hell."
Kelly tells "Extra" that she is thrilled to be working with Ted. She says, "We just find ourselves blushing when he walks into the room. He's so sweet, and kind, and of course handsome."
"Hope & Faith" premieres Friday on ABC.
