'The Lyon's Den'
"Extra" is hanging out on the set of NBC's new show, "The Lyon's Den," with star Rob Lowe, who is not only the star; he is also the executive producer.
Lowe's power of attorney is showcased in NBC’s new freshman drama about a legendary D.C. law firm hiding some dark secrets. Lowe says, "I wanted to have an overarching mystery where every week you weren’t sure you knew who was doing what to whom."
And his posh new TV digs aren’t too bad either. Lowe says, "I’m actually going to make my actual lawyers start working out of here. Maybe they will do a better job for me."
Helping Lowe get the job done in his new series are Elizabeth Mitchell and Matt Craven, who also give him high marks as their real-life boss. Mitchell says, "You wouldn’t expect someone so cute to be so clever, but he is."
Craven adds, "He does it so easily. I asked him yesterday, I said, ‘Aren't you freaking out?’ He said, ‘No, I'm fine.’"
"Extra" has learned that Jewell will guest star as Rob's ex-fiancée in some upcoming episodes. It looks like "The Lyon's Den" is going to be a real gem of a show.
