Sharon Osbourne
"Sharon" will keep it all in the family Thursday when 17-year-old Jack stops by for some quality time with mum.
Recently, Sharon told "Extra" that life in the spotlight has been hard on her family. She says, "I’ve learned you have to take the good with the bad."
But it has been especially difficult for Jack, who just completed a two-month stint in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse. Sharon says, "He’s gone through such a traumatic experience at such a young age. He had to grow up overnight."
Sharon says the events have affected the way she looks at being a mother. She says, "It has made me question myself. I’m not the perfect mom. I’m not the perfect wife."
But after 21 years of marriage, she must be doing something right. And she’s figured out some tools that helped her and Ozzy stay so strong through the years. She says, "Not giving up. It is so easy to give in the towel. It is so easy to say, ‘I’ve had it. I’m leaving.’ You don’t do that."
Sharon admits, however, that she and Ozzy still quarrel like any other couple. She says, "But at the end of the day you have an argument and then you get into bed and you smell that man and you touch him and he's warm and you love him. And it's like you forget what we just said. I just lie there and thank god, and think, ‘Wow, I do have it all.’"
