Ben and Jen: Broken Up?
They were supposed to say, "I do." Instead, they spent the weekend apart. Jen hit the beach and a nightclub in Miami, while Ben stayed in LA grabbing some takeout Mexican food and trying his luck at a local casino. The split sparked worldwide media frenzy with one burning question: did Ben and Jen breakup?
People magazine’s Peter Castro says the love affair is over. But who called it off? Castro says, "They have split up. Ben called it off. He decided right at the 11th hour that he did not want to go through with the wedding. Understandably, Jennifer was devastated, and she was in tears and called her friends."
However, sources close to Jennifer say neither party wants to say it's over. While the relationship is in trouble, Jennifer is trying to makes things work.
But Lopez was not in hiding. She jetted off for a weekend in Florida, hitting some hotspots in South Beach.
Saturday the Bronx bombshell was on the beach with friends and Saturday night she danced at club Prive until 4:30 in the morning. The question for onlookers was where was Jennifer's engagement ring?
Ocean Drive magazine photographer Seth Browarnik calls her mood low key. He says, "I approached her and asked if I could take her photo. She said not tonight. She shook my hand to say hi. I looked at both her hands, and I did not see a ring. She looked to be enjoying herself, but looks can be deceiving."
Now fans will have to wait to find out if this time apart is a break or break-up.
