'DC 9/11'

Timothy Bottoms played the president to an uncanny tee in Comedy Central's "That's My Bush." But now, the look-alike star finds himself portraying a very different Commander-In-Chief.

The deadly serious Showtime movie "DC 9/11: Time of Crisis," chronicles the drama that unfolded inside the White House in the critical hours and days following the terrorist attacks on America. And nobody is more surprised that he won the starring role as President Bush, than Timothy himself. He says, "After doing the comedy series I didn't think I had a shot at getting this part."

But the actor says he fought for the role because he passionately wanted to do something for the victims and survivors of 9/11 on the second anniversary of the tragedy.

"DC 9/11: Time of Crisis" premieres this Sunday night on Showtime.
