Emmy Red Carpet
It was wall-to-wall stars down on the red carpet before last night’s Emmy Awards. “Extra” interviewed the celebs before the show got started.
From our sky-high platform back down to earth, the stars were rolling in to give "Extra" the red carpet treatment. Kim Cattrall told us, “If you win, it will mean everything. And if you lose, it will mean nothing because you have the most amazing life."
Kim kicked things off while Stockard Channing revealed she's been stocking acceptance speeches. She says, “I have seven, no I have nine. If I ever win I’ll probably give the wrong speech."
But the real love-fest was over in "The West Wing," where Bradley Whitford and Richard Schiff were rooting for fellow nominee and co-star John Spencer to win the Best Supporting Actor award. John later said, “Well, it made me weep. Doesn't that just tell you what kind of place that is over there on “The West Wing”? I am so fortunate."
The stars weren't the only things blazing down the red carpet - it was a scorching 99-degrees outside the Shrine. All the Emmy gold was melting, even for the guy who melts hearts: Simon Baker. He said, “It's a little hot for a black woolen suit."
And the Emmys just didn't bring out TV's most talented stars,
they brought out Hollywood’s most powerful couples, from Jennifer
Aniston and Brad Pitt, Bradley Whitford and Jane Kaczmarek to
Jennifer Garner and Scott Foley. The hottest accessory was on
the stars arms, so to speak. |
