'Survivor's' First Castoff
"Survivor" is back. The million-dollar camping contest that started the recent reality TV craze is in Thailand this time around. And as fast as you can say, "the tribe has spoken," the first fight broke out.
One castaway cast away her clothes and went skinny-dipping. But it was a man of the cloth, pastor John Raymond of Louisiana, who earned the dubious distinction of being the first voted off. John tells "Extra," "By the time the third vote came up I was thinking, ‘Alright, I missed a meeting somewhere."
In New York this morning, John told "Extra" that survival skills are important, but to win this contest you have to play politics and "not worry about small things like food, water, and survival. But about ‘Survivor,’ and that's a different game."
Meantime, a popularity poll on the official "Survivor" website lists Jed, Tanya, and Penny as the early fan favorites. But for now, it's anybody's game.
