Emmy Countdown
With just two days until Emmy night, the party is already in full swing. Thursday night, dozens of Emmy nominees gathered to break bread at an all-star supper.
From Matthew Perry to an expecting Jane Kaczmarek, Megan Mullally to a beaming Bernie Mac, it's Emmy’s official kick off party at Los Angeles’ chic Spago restaurant. And you won't see this many stars rubbing shoulders again until Emmy night!
"Extra's" got the inside word on dates, and this year will be a family affair. Matthew Perry says, "I'm going to the Emmys with my mom. My mommy."
And "The West Wing's" Dule Hill is putting dear old dad in charge of beverages. He says, "He's great at making rum punch because my family's from Jamaica."
And the other pressing question is of course, what to wear? "The Shield's" Michael Chiklis says, "I'm going with Hugo Boss."
But it wasn't so easy for "Malcolm in the Middle's" mom-to-be, Jane Kaczmarek. She says, "As Brad says, I'll either be wearing the slipcovers or the drapes."
As for "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Brad Garrett, it's what he won't be wearing that could turn heads. He says, "My tux has no pants. It just has a lot of sleeve length. I never stand up."
It could be a brilliant night for "Six Feet Under." We broke the news to co-star Freddy Rodriguez that some odds-makers are picking his show to beat out "The West Wing" for best drama. He says, "Wow, I didn't know that."
We'll see who walks away winners when the stars reunite on Emmy night.
