Michelle Pfeiffer

Michelle Pfeiffer is at it again. She is proving that it's not just her beauty, but what lies beneath, as Michelle takes on another gritty role, this time as a murdering mother in "White Oleander."

"Oleander," co-starring Renée Zellweger, Noah Wyle, and Robin Wright Penn, has Michelle playing Ingrid, a seductive single mother who is as deadly as the poisonous flower itself, leaving her teenage daughter to be raised in a series of foster homes as she serves life in prison.

And while Michelle had a tough time playing the disturbing character, her husband, TV producer David E. Kelley had a tough time watching her. He says, "It's a big stretch for who she is day to day."

And while family comes first for Pfeiffer and Kelley, they're the proud parents of two children, Michelle says this movie has her wanting more. She says, "There are just vast numbers of children that are falling through the cracks and it does make you want to take them all home."

In fact, David says he sees his wife through rose-colored glasses. He says, "I'm always proud of her. In addition to being her husband, I’m one of her biggest fans anyway."

And with "White Oleander" coming out this fall, it looks like Michelle Pfeiffer’s career and love life continue to blossom.
