Only "Extra" was backstage after the big night. Just moments after her big win, Kelly couldn't stop crying or dancing. She says of her final song, "I could not get through that song. I was crying the whole time."
But the new "American Idol" dried her tears long enough to tell America how she really feels. She says, "I mean it was 50/50, you never know."
One thing we now know about this Texan cocktail waitress turned superstar is that she is as savvy as she is sexy. She says, "I hope that they buy the CD that I'm making now."
And for all you eligible bachelors out there, Kelly is still single, but she's not in the mood for love. She says, "I'm going to stay real focused. I won't have any time on my hands after this."
It was a tough night for Justin, but the guy with the megawatt smile didn't let us down. He says, "Kelly earned that. I wouldn't have felt right winning that. She is absolutely amazing, that's why I love her so much."
And Justin says that their friendship won't end with the show. He tells "Extra," "We're going to collaborate on her first album."
The top 10 begin their concert tour together in October, but Ryan Starr has already made one career decision: to pose, or not to pose, for Playboy. She says, "Oh no, it will never happen. I actually was already approached by them and I said no. And I've been offered tons of money to get in a bikini and I won't do it."
